There is an Amish School Auction (and breakfast / lunch) event in our local area every spring and every fall. We typically go to the event to look around and to have breakfast (goodwill donation).

We were filled to the gills when we left (pancakes, egg/cheese bake, sausage, ham, donut, cinnamon roll, orange juice, milk, and coffee) - it was wonderful and held us for a good part of the day as we came home and did garden work.

We have yet to stay for the full auction, but maybe some day. There's just nothing that we need (although I did see a brand new Kitchen Queen word burning stove/oven with hot water tanks in the back that I really wanted). Lots of people were there with the intention of staying and bidding though.
