The Lawn Chairs are Retired

We reached another milestone this weekend. Ever since we purchased the farmstead last March, the only furniture we have had for everyday sitting have been lawn chairs. It made no sense to have actual furniture that we would have to move to paint or install flooring. The lawn chairs worked, but they were not the most comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.
Maggie ordered a couch on clearance from Steinhafels, and bought a reclining armchair online from Wal-Mart. A third chair also showed up, but I am unsure of its origin. This weekend, they all made it to the house.
After a long day of painting doors, installing kitchen cabinet pulls, and installing a ceiling fan, it was nice to sit in a real chair. We thought Maxie would take possession of the couch, but so far she has stuck to the area rugs and her doggie bed. The place is starting to feel like a real home.
The lawn chairs are now in the garage, waiting for our first campfire of the year.
