Shucking Beans

Shucked Mixed Beans in a Jar

Today I shucked some dried beans we'd let go to seed (for next years' seed and maybe just a little to actually eat).

Yesterday, I picked all the dried pods. There were still lots that hadn't completely dried and those are still on the vine. Not sure if they'll be usable for seed or food given that we just had our first hard frost last night and expect many more going forward.
