Canning on a Rainy Day

In our family, Sunday morning is typically reserved for cleaning the house; however, it will have to wait until later on today as we are continuing our canning marathon from yesterday.

It was forecasted to rain all day yesterday (which it did not), so we made it a canning day. We canned hamburger pickles, tomato sauce, hot peppers, and green beans. Today it is dark, overcast, and rainy so it's just the perfect day to finish what we started yesterday. We're wrapping up (for now) with berry syrup (both blackberry and raspberry) and pickle spears.

Once everything is done, the weekly cleaning will commence again.
