Garden Officially Planted (and replanted)!

It's official - our garden is now fully planted (mainly due to Ed's hard work).
While I planted 3 of the raised beds, our metal trough, and the secondary melon trellis along with the flowers and sunflowers and some of the tomatoes, Ed did most of the heavy lifting. He did over 30 tomato plants, a brassica bed, a pepper bed, and the bean, cucumber, and primary melon trellis. He also planted beds of summer squash and winter squash.
Ed also planted some perennials; he planted three different types of grapes and 4-6 different types of currents. They seem to be getting established as of today (knock on wood that they continue to do so...). I tried something new with planting a couple horse radish roots in a container (apparently they spread wildly by roots if you let them). I added to our rhubarb bed as well...
We planted mainly over the course three plus weekends. We moved lots of hay from the hay bales to the the garden as well (one hay bale down, three to go). It's been extremely physical work for two "old people". But it feels glorious afterwards even as we sit at night and lament our sore muscles.
Some of the beds that I planted with crops that could be direct sowed before our last frost date had to be replanted because we had no rain for the three weeks after I originally planted. No rain in our near future but hopeful that further along in the week we'll get the rain that they're predicting. In the meantime, I've been watering in everything and will continue to do so for a while.
It's also been rewarding because we started just about all of our annuals from seeds in our basement. The next step in our gardening journey will be to save more seeds and use those as the basis of next years' garden. (We did save and use some - just not that many...)
